Installing Toki

Toki installs like any other Shopify app and works with every Shopify plan and any Online Store 2.0 theme. No code required.

1. Install from the Shopify App Store

1. Open Toki on the Shopify App Store.
2. Click Install and approve the requested permissions.
3. You'll land in the Toki merchant portal inside your Shopify admin.

Toki is Built for Shopify, which means it meets Shopify's strictest quality, performance, and privacy requirements.

2. Enable the theme embed

The on-site widget (the loyalty panel your customers see) ships as a theme app embed:

1. In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
2. Open App embeds in the left sidebar.
3. Toggle Toki Wallet on and click Save. Leave its Design ID field empty to use the default design; once you've published your own Wallet design, paste its Design ID here (see Install modules on your storefront).

Your storefront now shows the loyalty launcher. It won't slow your store down — the widget loads lazily after your page content.

3. Verify the install

• Visit your storefront and check the loyalty launcher appears.
• Create a test customer account and confirm the sign-up activity credits points (if you've enabled one).
• Place a test order and confirm points are earned.

Uninstalling

Removing the app from Shopify admin removes all storefront code automatically — theme app embeds leave nothing behind.
