A Shopify product, managed for you
Set a name, an image and the amounts you want to offer. Toki creates the matching product in your Shopify catalog and keeps it in sync:
- One variant per amount — labeled in your store currency, under an Amount option
- Nothing to stock — variants aren't taxable, don't need shipping and don't track inventory
- Real Shopify gift cards — every unit sold becomes its own Shopify gift card with its own code
- Your choice of fulfillment — issue the card right after payment, or wait until you fulfill the order for physical or bundled cards
Gifting, scheduled
Add the Gift Card Cart Button module to the product page and buyers can send the card as a gift: recipient name and email, a personal note, and a delivery date for birthdays and holidays. Toki emails the code on that date and sends the buyer a confirmation. Prefer your own design? Switch delivery to your email tool and build the email in Klaviyo from the events Toki sends.
Every recipient becomes a member
When the gift goes to someone who isn't in your program yet, Toki creates their account from their name and email. Gift-giving season turns into an acquisition channel: the recipient arrives with a balance to spend and a loyalty account waiting, ready for your points and welcome flows.

How do I sell gift cards with Toki?
Create a gift card product in Toki with the amounts you want to offer. Toki creates and maintains a matching Shopify product — one variant per amount, not taxable, no shipping, no inventory to track — and issues a Shopify gift card for every unit sold, so the code works at checkout like any other.
Can customers send a gift card to someone else?
