End-of-Period Expiration
End-of-Period Expiration
Reward discounts now automatically expire at the end of a selected time period (week, month, or year) in your store's timezone.
How It Works
When customers earn a reward, it expires at midnight on the last day of the current period.
Example: Monthly expiration setting, reward earned November 15th → expires November 30th at midnight in your timezone.
Comparison with Fixed-Day Expiration
Fixed-Day (Absolute) Expiration
Set specific calendar date and time when all rewards expire, regardless of when earned.
End-of-Period Expiration (New)
Each reward automatically expires at end of current week/month/year from when earned, creating rolling expiration schedule.

- Easier to remember: "Use by end of month" clearer than specific dates
