Currency Conversion for Spending Discounts

Spending discounts now convert correctly into the customer's checkout currency for multi-currency stores.

What's New

A new currency mode for spending discounts. Choose whether a fixed-amount discount is:

• Converted - defined in your store currency and converted at checkout using Shopify's exchange rates
• Per-currency - the same face value in every currency

Storefront discounts now use the checkout currency, so what the customer sees in the wallet matches what they see at checkout.

• Hide the wallet popup after login - a setting to close the wallet automatically once a customer authenticates
• Product filters for spend-based activities - restrict "earn on spend" to specific products or collections

Why It Matters

A $10 discount that shows up as ¥10 at checkout is the kind of thing customers only tell you about when they're angry. Now it can't happen.
