Exclusive Product Redemption in the Wallet
Customers can now unlock and redeem gated products directly inside the wallet, using points or money.
What's New
Exclusive Product Rules let you restrict collections to segments or require points to purchase. Until now, that gating lived on the storefront. The wallet now has a redemption flow for exclusive products, so customers can browse what they've unlocked and redeem in one place.
How It Works
- Create an Exclusive Product Rule for a collection
- Choose the access segment and whether it's purchased with money, points, or either
- The wallet shows eligible products to qualifying customers
- Customers redeem, and the item lands in their cart with the right discount applied
Follow-Ups (June)
- Blocked segment on rules, so you can exclude a segment from a collection
- Custom cart messages shown when a customer tries to add an exclusive product they haven't unlocked
Why It Matters
Gated products are the strongest VIP perk you can offer. Making them redeemable in the wallet turns "members-only" from a rule into an experience.
