Challenge Completion Modes
Choose whether a challenge requires each activity separately or any combination adding up to a total.
What's New
Challenges now have a completion mode setting:
- Each activity separately - the customer must complete every activity in the challenge the specified number of times (the original behavior)
- Any activities combined - the customer can complete any of the activities; only the total count matters
Example
A "Get Social" challenge with three activities (follow on Instagram, share a product, leave a review) and a target of 2:
- Each separately: all three must be done
- Any combined: doing any two unlocks the reward
Time Windows
Also new: activities can be restricted to a time window, so a completion only counts if it happens within a defined period. Combine with challenges for "do X within 7 days of joining" style mechanics.
Why It Matters
Rigid challenges frustrate customers who are happy to engage but not in the exact way you scripted. Flexible completion keeps the goal while letting them choose the path.
