Nonfungible tokens (NFTs) are now on the menu at Applebee's. The casual-dining chain on Monday sold the first in a new series of NFTs, or one-of-a-kind digital images that can be bought and sold online as collector's items. The image, an abstract, technicolor burger created by New York artist Amber Vittoria, sold for $25. The buyer also got an Applebee's gift card loaded with $1,300, or enough to buy a year's worth of burgers.
